Doesn’t matter if JaMoron weighs 270 or 290.

In my opinion, the only thing lower than JaMoron’s QB rating is his IQ.

JR is a certified MORON.

Anyone that’s had the displeasure of actually listening to this retard attempt to put a coherent thought together in an interview immediately comes to the conclusion that JaMoron is mentally challenged.

Of course, there are people here that believe that JaMoron’s inability to utter an understandable sentence is not a reflection of his intelligence or lack thereof.

These same people will also tell you that JaMoron is an accurate QB and that his completion percentage at LSU is proof of this.

These people won’t believe their ears when they listen to JaMoron babble and they won’t believe their eyes when it’s obvious JaMoron couldn’t hit water if he fell out of a boat.

All these people will do is continue to believe and assure everyone that JaMoron has great ‘talent’.

Well, here’s another truth about JaMoron — he has great physical ability but very little talent.

He’s a big strong guy with a powerful arm. That’s physical ability – NOT TALENT.

A talented QB can read a defense. A talented QB can manipulate defenders with his eyes or pump fakes. A talented QB can audible when necessary. A talented QB has touch. A talented QB has awareness and pocket presence. A talented QB has leadership qualities and can unite the team.

JaMoron has NONE of these talents.

All he has is physical ability.

He doesn’t have the brain power, will power, and maybe not even the desire to harness his great physical ability and be a franchise QB. In fact, his mental limitations are so severe he’ll never even be a decent NFL QB.

Now I’m not a big fan of McNabb. In my opinion McNabb is a very average QB when he’s playing in the pocket. McNabb at one time was a very dangerous QB that could demolish any defense by extending a play and moving around. Those days might be behind him. The best part of his game is on the decline. However, he remains an accurate deep passer and disguises and throws a nice screen pass (something JaMoron is incapable of).

Would bringing in McNabb be the right move ? I’m not sure.

But I am sure of one thing….

THE GREATEST ADDITION THE RAIDERS CAN MAKE IS ONE OF SUBTRACTION: DUMP RUSSELL NOW

The Raiders keep Cable’s status close to the vest. People wonder if the Raiders are playing the media. Raiders repeatedly insinuate that everything is fine with Cable and that he will be back. Suddenly, ESPN reports that Cable is staying. Now the Raiders are denying THAT report, which insinuates he might be gone. Who’s playing who?

For what it’s worth, here is the Raiders statement issued by senior executive John Herrera:

“We’ve never made any statements that the head coach would not be back. That has been media speculation from the beginning. We’ve consistently stated that we’re going through an evaluation process to decide the direction that the organization needs to go. The process is ongoing, and it has not reached a conclusion.”

As much as I’ve grown tired of this circus at the end of every season, I will have to say that the Raiders are in the right with that statement. It has all been media speculation. They never said they were dumping him to begin with. Cable’s under contract if you’re a true fan you’d know Al isn’t going to pay a coach for not coaching. Unless he’s been crossed and as far as I can tell with Cable thats never happened.

When players excel to the professional level, for many, their performances can be like artistry. Having one’s medium of expression taken away at an age when most artists are just becoming matured is a cruel reality for pro players. For a writer this would be like having all writing tools off-limits for use and he could only think about what he wants to write. He could only write in his mind. Gannon is probably still throwing passes in his imagination and this pass is one that went errantly out of bounds and into reality.

Gannon bit the hand that fed him. There are many untruths written about this organization, which is why it cannot trust the media and will remain private about its business. Mistakes have been made, but this is not in question. Some decisions (players) take more time to show results than others. Coaches will only be maintained when they can execute the plan and lever the player strengths. Don’t be fooled. There are many factors contributing to the Raiders win/loss record. The main reason contributing to the last 7 years is Mr Davis’ attempt to give greater power to his head coaches.

Mr Davis decided some time ago to move in another direction strategically, to build a stronger foundation of younger players, to leave a long-lasting legacy of success unlike any other time in Raiders history and something for the greatest fans in the world to be proud of. He has said that it will take time to see the results of this plan. This is his mission and commitment. He will not rest until this is done.

Cable’s inability to recognize the Raiders struggles is why he will be dismissed. He tried running on the Ravens but refused to run against the Browns? If he knows Russell is struggling in the pocket run the ball more or get some shorter crossing routes. Just because we have speed with our WRs doesn’t mean go deep every play. With their speed quicker cutting routes would have suited them better. Right at the snap of the ball quick slants.  What DB can hang with our speed?  We would have so many YAC by running these plays. And power block for goodness sakes. It’s so much easier pre snap knowing what man you got.

It seems to me Al Davis has ignored Madden and the Madden-era players. Look at the Raiders Web site as an example. There you have Jim Plunkett, JaMarcus Russell, and Willie Brown, all of them Al guys. How do you exclude John Madden, Kenny Stabler, Casper, Shell, Upshaw, Branch, Biletnikoff? It’s Al’s not so subtle way of saying it is AD who has made the Raiders great, although Madden won BIG and BETTER, contrary to Al’s football philosophy. Al wants to focus only on the Plunkett era. And since Al has taken total control without any dissent, we have been losers, horrible losers, worse than any other team in NFL football history. The greatness of the Raiders lies in its past, not its future unless Al must is willing to collaberate and give up some control to a quality head coach.

My assessment of Coach Cable’s play calling would be average at best, below average during key scoring opportunities. I like Cable, I really do, but he’s not an elite play caller by any stretch. Not running on 2nd and 2, and then again on 3rd and 2 in the first half, then a couple of examples of non-runs in the second half, particular four shots from the 2 – that is just inexcusably.

We needed to pound the ball more to have an offensive identity. Both Bush and McFadden should have 15-20 touches apiece against the Ravens. That’s 7 to 10 touches per quarter. Sweeps, pitches, counters, traps, screens, shovel passes, McFadden in the slot – I don’t care – just get them the ball. If Miller gets half a dozen touches and the receivers catch around 10 balls total, I dare say we win Sunday. Frye cannot have 300 yards passing to win IMHO.

Take out the emotion and look at the QB situation…

Gradkowski: We already have an idea of what he can do. Did he earn a new contract? Absolutely.  A “big” one? Absolutely not. A nice medium sized one would do. But, he shouldn’t play the next game…we already know he’s a gamer.

Frye: We’ve seen what he can do…and know he’s not the under-fire answer at the position. Since we already know that, we need to move on.

Losman: Not fair to him, or the team, to expect him to do anything unless it’s an emergency. Ride the pines until camp, JP.

JaMarcus: This is the one last chance for JaMarcus to have a positive feeling going into the off-season. The team stands as much of a chance of winning with JaMarcus as they do with Frye…and it could be Jamarcus’s chance to throw down the gauntlet to Grad, JP, and a yet-to-be-named Free Agent, that he isn’t going to go away so easily.

For the sake of potential development, without diminishing the team’s chances to be competitive in the game, I say it’s time to put JaMarcus out there one more time.

A few months to digest the Ravens’ Defense, and his own QB future, might be just what the doctor ordered for JaMarcus. There aren’t any other on-the-job-training opportunities left for him this season.

Oh, by the way, the Raiders looked horrible against the Cleveland Browns

Quarterback JaMarcus could stand to learn a lesson from FS Michael Huff.  Maybe the organization could too.

“I know I wasn’t playing up to top 10-pick potential, so I could see where Cable was coming from,” Huff told the Contra Costa Times. “Cable was a new coach, and he felt like he had to make a move. So, I definitely respect him for that. I just kind of put that in my back pocket and learned from that.”

Huff said he has rededicated himself to watching film to improve his game as a free safety.

“I watched every tackle from Brian Dawkins, Ed Reed, Troy (Polamalu) and Bob Sanders,” Huff said. “I watched every one of their tackles from last season just trying to see what they do. They all play different defenses, and they approach the game different, so I tried to take a little bit from each.”

We are fans of the best team in football. I am not talking about our current record, I am talking about our history. What other teams have experienced so many historical games like the Heidi Game, Immaculate Reception, Sea of Hands, Ghost to the Post, Holy Roller, Mistake by the Lake, etc? How about the three Superbowl victories? And our uniform! We have best looking uniform and emblem in all of sports. We have much to be proud of.

Have a Merry Christmas, and I am looking forward to another great win this Sunday against the Browns.
